Agiblocks 3.21.2 Release Notes

Top  Previous  Next

Version 3.21.2 is a small patch release for Agiblocks that contains some fixes for customer issues.

Cargo Premium Differentiation and Pricing Requirement

A feature added in Agiblocks in version 3.20.0 introduced the possibility to create contracts with optional cargo qualities against a different premium. For these contracts, it is required to select which choice was made in order to calculate the final price.  Feedback from users showed that filling in this option was easy to forget, resulting in issues such as not being able to make a final invoice, or the contract staying in position (as unrealized).

In version 3.21.2 a check has been added to require you to enter the selected options before executing the delivery to or from this contract.  If these options are not entered, Agiblocks will show an error message to make sure you do not forget to select an option.

For older deliveries executed before 3.20, the feature remains inactive as before, and the price will be decided without adding surcharges to it.

Snapshot Market Price and Premium Calculations

Previous to version 3.21.2, stock assets in Mark to Market snapshots more than 1 month old were not valuated in the same way as when the snapshot was created. Unreserved stock assets are always valuated against prices of the first non-expired futures period and the market premiums for the current reporting period.  For snapshots, these periods were incorrectly chosen relative to the current date instead of the snapshot date. The effects were visible when comparing a new snapshot download with an older one.  This issue has been fixed in this release.
